Whenever we’re
together, whether with people from our own chapter or with other GWRRA
members, the key word is FUN! We’re not just riding acquaintances -
we’re friends. Winter in west-central Ohio can make for a long stretch
of non-riding season, and we get together often to help each other with
our PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome). But of course we always enjoy
ourselves the most when we’re out on the bikes together. Where we’re
going isn’t nearly as important as the fact that we’re doing it on two
wheels. Or to put it another way - "It’s not the destination - it’s the
gettin’ there." Chapter N has a special reputation for being one of the most active chapters in the state in Safety and Rider Education-related events. Many of our members are certified in First Aid and CPR, attend regularly scheduled Parking Lot Practices, Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Courses, and other GWRRA sponsored Rider Ed events around the state, such as Safety Sunday and Skills Day. New for 2007, due to the closing of Ryan's Steak House our regular meetings which are on the fourth Tuesday of each month will be at Tamarac Golf Club, 500 North Stevick Road, Elida, Ohio. People start gathering for dinner beginning at about 6:00 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome, and you’ll find that our meetings are unlike any "business" meeting you’ve ever been to. As always, the emphasis is on FUN. If you’re interested in joining us, we would love to see you there! |
